Leonard Mott
- Stunts
Leonard Mott was an amicable young Canadian commercial "hard hat" diver who trained under E.R. Cross and Matt Mathews, and worked as a stunt diver on Walt Disney's 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea in 1954; standing in for Peter Lorre as "Conseil" in the underwater scenes filmed in the Bahamas. Four years later, in 1958, Vancouver's Second Narrows Bridge collapsed sending 18 men to the grave. Len was diving in the recovery operation when he became the bridge's 19th victim.
