The feature competition lineup of the festival, set-up as an fringe alternative to Sundance in 1995, includes 10 world premieres, two North American premieres, and four Us premieres. Most titles were produced in the Us, with additional features coming from Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Ecuador, France, Germany and Netherlands. What a ride. "Survivor: Kaôh Rōng," aka Season 32 -- and the second to carry the "Brains, Brawn, and Beauty" theme -- ended last night with a dramatic two hour finale and one-hour reunion show. Who won the $1 million and title of Sole Survivor? Mark the Chicken! Ok, maybe not, but he earned it. He was even there at Final Tribal on Tai Trang's lap.

In the end, the only two players to get votes were Aubry Bracco (Brains) and Michele Fitzgerald (Beauty), with Tai (Beauty) as the "goat." Aubry got two votes (Joe, Debbie) and Michele got five (Julia, Cydney, Nick, Jason, Scot), so it was a solid win for Michele. That was a surprise to many fans, who thought strong strategist/confessional queen...

Last time on Survivor: Kaoh Rong, despite much last-minute maneuvering, former Beauty tribe member Julia Sokolowski was sent packing. It wasn't altogether surprising as Julia flipped between alliances frequently, which certainly doesn't garner you high marks in the loyalty department.
With just six contestants left, let's see who will further their chances at winning $1 million on Survivor: Kaoh Rong and who will win a much less coveted place on the jury.

The last couple of seasons of Survivor have been pretty consistent in the ratings and that's no easy feat these days. Will this venerable competition series continue to perform for CBS? Will it be renewed for a 33rd season or, will it be cancelled instead? Stay tuned.
Jeff Probst returns as host with Survivor: Kaôh Rōng. The "Brains vs Brawn vs Beauty" season splits contestants into three teams based on intelligence, athleticism, and attractiveness. The players are Peter Baggenstos, Aubry Braco, Joseph Del Campo, Michele Fitzgerald, Cydney Gillon, Neal Gottlieb, Darnell Hamilton, Alecia Holden, Kyle Jason, Anna Khait, Jennifer Lanzetti, Nick Maiorano, Elisabeth Markham, Scot Pollard, Caleb Reynolds, Julia Sokolowski, Tai Trang, and Debbie Wanner.
The higher a show's ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better its chances for survival. New ratings data will be added as it becomes available -- typically around 11:30am Est/8:30am...

Where does Survivor find these people?
No, that's not a rhetorical question. We really want to know.
When the long-running reality show returns for its 32nd season, Survivor: Kaoh Rong, on Feb. 17, they've found a new batch of contestants to compete for the $1 million prize. Survivor's strength has always been in its casting, and, by the looks of this crew, they may have done it again.
There's a bounty hunter from Detroit, a Minnesota ER doctor, a semi-retired NBA player and a female bodybuilder from Georgia. There's a 19-year-old student and a 72-year-old(!) former FBI agent from Florida.
