Saïda Fakher (12-09-1993) is a Moroccan-Dutch Young Creative Emmy nominated actress, writer and producer. She is known for various Dutch TV series such as Vakkenvullers and Swipe (#tagged). Swipe has been hailed around the world, selected as "Best Series" and won the Best Screenplay award at the Hollyweb Film Festival.
After the Dutch Academy of Performing Arts Saïda became a professional performer and really launched her career in theater. She loved it but felt she needed to reach higher. Within a year she was selected from hundreds of thousands of applications from around the world to study at the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, Hollywood.
She has experience in theater, on TV and in film. She played in the internationally acclaimed short film Typing... by Mirthe Venbrux. Performed Lead roles with the biggest theater companies such as Suburbia and Orkater. In Hollywood, Saïda has played in the short film You Weren't There, which premiered at the Unleashed Festival in Melbourne.
Saïda is an all-round performer: she acts, sings and dances and has won the international Visual Identity Awards (IVIA). The annual IVIA awards ceremony is the world's largest independent visual identity and brand development contest.
Saïda her latest work involved working among Dutch A-listers such as Loes Luca (Mi Vida) and Rifka Lodeizen (Judas). She is also involved as a producer in a number of international film projects.
