Jacob Turner(X)
Jacob Turner is an aspiring freelance writer, author and screenwriter.
Born and raised in Southern Ontario Jake began his first novel at the age of 11. An action-adventure fiction novel about a young teenage boy who had an unnatural capacity for weapons and hand to hand combat, and was basically an espionage protege. The handwritten manuscript was lost somewhere along the way in the many moves through southern Ontario, down to South Carolina and back to the greater Toronto area.
He is an avid student of martial arts having trained for 23 years in karate, 15 with weapons and 12 years of Tai chi and Chi kung. Languages have been a natural interest to Jacob from day 1. He speaks French, Spanish, and has begun Arabic and Japanese, but since put them aside for lack of time and the general need to use them on a daily basis.
Jacob was a focused individual growing up in his teens, although he did not necessarily focus on what society suggested. Dropping out of high school 4 times, mostly to work and evade the boredom of the classroom, he took a mere 6.5 years to accomplish his high school diploma. Jacob's post-secondary education started shortly after his graduation and he attended Niagara College where he studied a business degree in hospitality operations management and was involved in two international development programs. He traveled to Peru in 2007 as an assistant chef and translator in a food health and safety development program at the University of San Pablo in Arequipa. And he successfully completed a 6 month management training internship at the Fairmont Dubai in 2008.
Jake has been focused on writing and developing T.V. comedy since 2012.
Jacob is 30 years old and lives in Toronto, Ontario.
