Ronan Quinn Kelly
- Actor
Ronan Kelly is an actor and content creator based in New York City. Originally from California, he moved east to pursue his BFA in Acting at New York University, from which he will graduate in the fall of 2023. Last fall, Ronan starred as Romeo in Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" at the Vino Theater, making his NYC theater debut after at least a decade of doing theater on the West Coast and beyond. In 2019, he starred in Macbeth at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, which sparked a passion for working with Shakespeare's texts. In addition to stage work, Ronan has worked on multiple independent films, including "Passage," a film created for the mental health advocacy group To Write Love on Her Arms, which was shown at Cannes Film Festival in 2017. In 2019, he won the SBCC Film Festival Best Actor award for his leading role in the film "In Between." As a transgender man, Ronan has fought to accept and embody his authenticity, a quality that he finds to be of utmost importance in the stories he tells. His love of theater and film comes from its fundamental truth-telling quality and the medium's ability to cultivate empathy between seemingly disparate individuals and groups. Through his work as an actor, Ronan hopes to tell stories of identity, queerness, love, grief, and adventure. Find him on Instagram @ronanqk
