Michael Needham(VI)
- Stunts
- Actor
Michael Needham was born in Philadelphia and put into modeling and acting while just a toddler. He was an extra in big movies such as Philadelphia starring Tom Hanks and Denzel Washington, and Two Bits starring Al Pacino. He appeared in magazines, store posters, toy boxes, and commercials that aired during the World Series. He drifted away from the industry around the age of 8.
Michael grew up enjoying many action sports such as skate/snowboarding, rollerblading, rock climbing, bungee jumping, and skydiving. Michael eventually discovered parkour and has now been training that discipline for almost 20 years. This led him to becoming a highlighted competitor on seasons 4 through 7 of American Ninja Warrior, ANW: Ninja vs Ninja, and 2 years of Sasuke (Ninja Warrior) Vietnam. He was able to use his many years of movement training to place within the top 4 fastest qualifying times 3 years in a row, and make it to the Vegas finals twice. In Vietnam, he became one of the few competitors to almost make it to the end. In Sasuke Vietnam 2019, he was able to get the fastest time overall on Stage 1, become the only clear of his episode on Stage 2, and make it as far as only a couple others on the brutal third stage.
Michael used these skill sets he developed over the years to open his own parkour and Ninja Warrior training gym in New Jersey. He is now pursuing the stunt industry and hopes to continue using and growing his skill set to work with what he loves: movement.
