Nedra Shamberger
- Actress
Hello there! I'm a singer and actress who gained recognition for my role in the high school play "You Can't Take It With You." Since then, I've won several awards, including the Drama Award of the Year for my performance in "Into The Woods" and the historic AUDELCO Award at the National Black Theater for "Song of Sheba." I have performed in popular Off-Broadway musicals both nationally and internationally.
Aside from acting, I have pursued teaching and public speaking. I became the Stage Manager for Workshop 90 at Upsala College during my undergraduate studies. I also taught as an Adjunct Professor at Monmouth University and Ocean County College. I have enjoyed studying with renowned professionals such as Dr. Stephen Oosting for my 1st soprano voice and world-class acting teacher Michael Beckett.
You may have seen me in the hit comedy "Impolite Boys" as the jealous stepmother or in the "Inspire-3WTC" industry commercial for the World Trade Center. I have exciting projects coming up, so keep an eye out for this Jersey Girl.
