Paul Green's career began in the mid 1960's as Cinematographer on the top rating Crawford Productions TV series 'Homicide'. He then went on to spend time in the TV department at George Patterson Advertising Agency; he was employed by the Australian Department of Defence as a Cameraman, directing documentaries and training films for the Australian Navy; and he worked at Network 10 as a Director for their Commercial production department.
In the early 1980's, Paul formed his own company Cambridge Films, which enabled him to produce TV Commercials in Australia, London, and New York. In 1989, he formed Film Partnership, producing and directing Television Commercials and Documentaries. Following that, Paul teamed up with Feature Film Editor David Pulbrook to form their current production company Horizon Films. Horizon Films will celebrate its 30 year anniversary in 2019, making it one of Melbourne's oldest and most iconic production companies.
Over his career, Paul has made hundreds of Australian corporate films, videos and commercials, including many of the famous Victoria Bitter 'Matter of Fact' commercials, and the award-winning 'Clydesdale Series' commercials for Carlton and United Breweries.
