Sharon D. Allen is an organic story writer, producer, and director. She was born in Dallas Texas and moved to Los Angeles, California at the age of 7. Sharon was the natural born leader and risk taker of her family always ready for adventure. Unbeknownst to her at the time, her bold personality would be the catalyst to her success.
In 1977, Allen studied business at Los Angeles Occupational Business College, and in 1979 was a student at Los Angeles Trade Tech. She also attended Chavez & Associates School of Investigations, and once completed in 1981, Sharon moved to Texas to pursue her career for entertainment at Northeast TX Community College as a Theater and Performing Arts major.
Sharon had a dream one night in 1993 that was so powerful she knew she had to write it down. This dream jumpstarted her journal writing, and by 1998, she had written so many stories from her own life experiences that she decided to transform them into stage plays. Her stage plays were a major hit, and as a result, her ticket sales skyrocketed and venues were standing room only. Allen realized her work was turning into something even greater and began placing her attention towards motion pictures.
Sharon aspired to gain more knowledge of the film industry, so she enrolled at KD Conservatory College of Film and Dramatic Arts in Dallas, TX. Shortly after, she participated in the Dallas Film Fest and began receiving invitations to private screenings and movie premiers. This led her into an awesome career of film producing, writing, directing, consulting, fund raising, and talent scouting.
In 2011, Allen started on the rise to fame as a Filmmaker when she began writing the independent feature film "Caught Up." She has currently written 5 screenplays and is a producer of the feature film, "Till Death Do Us Part," written by Dee Elias and edited by Norman Ray Fitts. Sharon is also producing a new Reality Show called; "Ladies of Elegance" created by Charlotte Howard, and has been offered to produce the film "The Web of Eve," along with the sci-fi series "Parallel." Sharon's desire is that God's power will be revealed through her work. In a lost and dying world, her mission is to reach out to those who have been battered, hurt, wounded, and demented by sharing her personal experiences on film. Sharon has attained much success throughout her career and is now teaching others how to roll up their sleeves and make it happen too.
