The CW’s slate of DC Comics shows is expanding once again this fall, with the introduction of Black Lightning, but Cress Williams and his super family aren’t the only new faces in town!
The network announced several casting updates at Comic-Con on Saturday, including the introduction of Dexter star James Remar and Bates Motel’s Damon Gupton as Black Lightning series regulars.
Remar will play Peter Gambi, father figure, mentor and tailor to Jefferson Pierce (Williams), while Gupton will play Inspector Henderson, a high-ranking detective who becomes an unlikely ally of Black Lightning.
Elsewhere in the DC television ‘verse, Lost and Person of Interest star Michael Emerson will be joining Arrow in a mysterious recurring role. Fan favorite David Nykl is also set to return as Oliver’s Bratva mentor, Anatoly Knyazev.
