The world of Marvel Comics is huge, but so is the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). And in the last few years, the MCU has expanded and grown into an even bigger entity than it was thanks to its Multiversal concept. Due to the Multiverse and time traveling, the MCU also brought two great characters back from the dead, i.e. Loki and Gamora.

Despite the shocking return of these two beloved characters, fans eagerly anticipate that it will potentially open the door for others to return. Yet it is essential to remember that not every fallen hero will rise again, since for some characters like Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man, their legacy matters more than fans’ desires.

Wanda was never just a character in the MCU. She started out a villain, became a hero, became a hero with a tragic backstory, lost everything, and circled back to being a villain until eventually becoming sort of a hero again by destroying Darkhold and supposedly taking her own life.
Now even the ending of ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ was pretty open-ended, and the official statements on the matter really did nothing to answer the question – is Wanda still alive within the MCU?
Most fans, including me, believe that collapsing debris can’t really do much against Nexus being with such a Multiversal potential, after all, we’ve seen Wanda tanking far worse, so she will likely return. Recently, there’s been a few rumors circling that she is going to get her own standalone movie, even if that doesn’t happen, there are a few projects in which she could return,...

Sherlock Holmes is one of the most famous fictional characters for book readers and, most recently, entertainment lovers, with a sprinkle of movies and TV shows constantly popping up every couple of years. Holmes is a socially awkward but intelligent detective in Arthur Conan Doyle’s novels written between 1887 and 1915. Over the years, several celebrities have played Holmes, from Benedict Cumberbatch and Henry Cavill to Johnny Lee Miller and Iron Man’s Robert Downey Jr. All these adaptations, while similar, have unique differences that make watching them a new experience despite knowing what to expect. The scars given by Avengers: Endgame will not heal for a long time to come. Not only did we lose Black Widow and Iron Man to the ultimate sacrifice, but things went downhill for the Marvel Cinematic Universe soon after. Regardless, the film is one of the finest to exist in the superhero universe and its ending is going to stay with the fans forever.
Black Widow’s sacrifice in Avengers: Endgame
However, there was a slight chance that Avengers: Endgame would have been even more devastating than it was. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige had initially pitched to kill off all the original Avengers and not just Black Widow and Iron Man. Luckily, the Russo Brothers were right there to intervene and were able to put a stop to this just in time.

Attention: The Following Report Is A Rumor. Please Take The Following Story With A Grain Of Salt.
The 2021 film Spider-Man: No Way Home was seen as not only the third installment of a popular trilogy of Spider-Man films but also the celebration of two decades of Spider-Man in the cinema. Bringing together the worlds of Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire was seen as a cinematic event on par with Avengers: Endgame.
Nearly three years later, Sony has been dropping the ball on nearly every Spider-Verse-related project, with massive flops such as Morbius and Madame Web. With Sony seemingly desperate to hang on to the Spider-Man license, they know they need the next Tom Holland Spider-Man film to be on equal footing with the previous film.
One of the rumored plots for the project would be a direct follow-up with both Garfield and Maguire returning, while Kevin Feige wants to start fresh.

Robert Downey Jr. is one of the biggest movie stars of our generation. The actor recently won his first Oscar for his role in Christopher Nolan’s monumental 2023 historical drama Oppenheimer. But, despite his many impressive movie roles, Downey Jr. will forever be Iron Man for Marvel fans.
The 59-year-old actor also won fans over after candidly talking about his battle with drug addiction and how he overcame it. However, long before the Iron Man actor was on his road to redemption, he played the role of a drug addict in a forgotten 1987 thriller. Playing the said role catapulted him further into the dark depths of addiction.

Marvel is witnessing how big of a hole Robert Downey Jr. left in the MCU when his character heroically died in Avengers: Endgame. Most of the projects post-Endgame show a declining trend in audience interest in the films.
While this is a universal trend across Cbm films now, returning superheroes notably get a more positive reception. Fans have been suggesting that Marvel bring back Downey Jr. as Iron Man for the same reason.

Gwyneth Paltrow Once Revealed Robert Downey Jr Cried While Putting On His Iron Man Costume(Photo Credit – IMDb)
Robert Downey Jr and Gwyneth Paltrow shared a fantastic bond both on and off the screen. They will always remain Iron Man and Pepper Potts for the fans. The fans loved watching Rdj suit up on screen, but they had no idea how he had a nervous breakdown behind the scenes as he cried every time he wore his superhero costume. But Paltrow had an interesting reaction to Rdj’s misery. Keep scrolling for more.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe, aka MCU, started with Gwyneth and Rdj starring Iron Man in 2008. In The Avengers, Rdj persuaded the makers to add Paltro’s character Pepper in the movie to show a different side of Tony Stark, as Potts played a significant role in his character development in the film. Tony would do anything to keep his loved ones secure.

Dwayne Johnson’s recent transformation into a heel character has injected a frenzy of excitement into WWE programming, infused with a new sense of strength and subtlety. This development blends The Rock’s quirky Hollywood charm with a rebellious attitude that defined his identity in the 90s. His recent appearance on Raw gave the wrestling community a shock, especially when he unexpectedly faced Cody Rhodes.

Robert Downey Jr.’s death scene in Avengers: Endgame will perhaps be the most poignant moment in all of the MCU movies. While fans did not see it coming in the Infinity Saga finale, Downey Jr. knew about Iron Man’s fate from around the time of filming Captain America: Civil War. Marvel boss Kevin Feige pitched the idea to the Oppenheimer actor after getting inspired by another Marvel film. Feige was impressed by how Hugh Jackman’s character arc ended in Logan.

Logan gave a fitting conclusion to Jackman’s Wolverine. At the end of the film, he sacrifices his life for his biological daughter, Laura, and other young mutants. The film became the best-reviewed film in the X-Men franchise.

Actor and recent Oscar-winner Robert Downey Jr. is known for his decade-long role as Iron Man in the MCU. The actor laid the foundations for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, alongside director Jon Favreau and producer Kevin Feige. The film is largely credited with having changed how superhero films were perceived in Hollywood.
Downey Jr.’s off-screen persona often includes a self-aware yet inflated sense of ego. However, even he set it aside to name James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy as the best film in the franchise. The Oppenheimer star mentioned how he was surprised by how great the film was, with relatively unknown characters, and ended up being so important for the MCU.

If the Marvel Cinematic Universe is as big as it is today, it is in no small part because of Robert Downey Jr. The now Oscar winner actor’s portrayal of Iron Man will always be held as nothing short of remarkable. Downey, as Iron Man, has thus been pretty instrumental in making the superhero verse as influential and successful as we know it today.

Jon Favreau knew Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow’s onscreen chemistry in Iron Man was something special.
The director recently revealed to People magazine that he incorporated some of the actors’ real-life conversations into the Marvel movie. And it’s one of the reasons why the dynamic between Tony Stark and Pepper Potts felt so authentic.
“I was a very good student where I would take notes as they would talk, and whether it was improvising or even just talking about the scene, I would write stuff down that they would say,” Favreau recalled.
He particularly remembered one instance when Paltrow actually corrected Downey “because we were reading the script and it said, ‘This looks like Jackson Pollock’s spring period.’ And then she corrected us in rehearsal. She says, ‘No, it’s actually The Springs period. The Springs is the part of the Hamptons where Jackson Pollock lived and worked,...

Every time a Targaryen is born, to paraphrase a memorable line from fantasy author George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire," the gods toss the coin in the air and the world holds its breath to see how it will land. This, of course, refers to the uniquely Targaryen penchant for instability that we caught a brief but violent glimpse of throughout "Game of Thrones" -- as it turns out, centuries of incestuous marriage traditions will have that effect -- but that was nothing compared to the relentless display of fire and blood in season 1 of "House of the Dragon." HBO's prequel series was set 200 years before the events of the original, back when the Targaryen dynasty had reached its zenith and spread its influence across the continent of Westeros. And despite concerns that the divisive final season of "Game of Thrones" might turn viewers off from...

Madame Web is the newest big project for Di Bonaventura, who recently worked on Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, Meg 2: The Trench, and Pet Sematary: Bloodlines, all released last year.
Despite his work, he has made a controversial comment about Marvel and DC movies. As a result, he is getting a lot of criticism online. The producer believes that numerous comic book movies are currently facing difficulties because they seem like “homework” to viewers.

Christopher Nolan appeared on “The Late Show” for a lengthy discussion with Stephen Colbert in which the filmmaker heaped praise on his “Oppenheimer” star Robert Downey Jr., who is widely considered the Oscar frontrunner for best supporting actor. Nolan said he always wanted to work with Downey because of his “generosity” and “charisma.” The director went on to call Downey’s role as Iron Man, which birthed the Marvel Cinematic Universe and carried it for a decade, one of the most important casting decisions ever made.
“With anybody you work with, with actors…you’re looking for some kind of connection emotionally, empathetically,” Nolan said about being drawn to Downey. “You’re looking for some kind of generosity. He has this incredible generosity of spirit. It means when he’s in a scene with other people he’s making sure they are all doing their best, that they are all...

In this true-life tale of TKOs and tragedy, there are dreadful consequences for a bunch of wrestling brothers who are too scared to show their real emotions. Could it change how men cry?
A stigma still looms over men weeping on screen. Tears are associated with weakness, crying something “little girls” do, vulnerability only hinted at rather than expressed freely. The Iron Claw is looking to crack open these outdated notions. In this moving, true-life drama, the tightknit Von Erich brothers are ruled by the steely fist of their father Fritz, played by Holt McCallany, who dictates the shape of their lives as he encourages them to fulfil his own failed dream of becoming the National Wrestling Alliance’s world heavyweight champ.
We meet the siblings in 1980s Texas: eldest Kevin (a frighteningly bulked up Zac Efron), Olympic hopeful Kerry (Jeremy Allen White), kind-hearted David (Harris Dickinson) and sensitive musician...

The episode of Best Horror Movie You Never Saw covering Gothika was Written and Edited by Paul Bookstaber, Narrated by Kier Gomes, Produced by John Fallon and Tyler Nichols, and Executive Produced by Berge Garabedian.
Back in the late 90’s, early 2000s the horror genre was in that weird phase of encapsulating what it truly wanted to be. Hot off the heels of Scream, horror movies focused much more on the teenage angst, and lifestyle. But there comes a time when some hidden gems make their way to the silver screen that branch off the beaten path with a more adult-themed tale, drenched in psychological/mental horror. What if one day you’re living your average life, working your 9-5, and suddenly black, out only to wake up, institutionalized and accused of committing a crime you can’t seem to remember doing? Shane Black's 2013 film "Iron Man 3" (or "Iron Man Three" as it is titled on-screen) is handily one of the best films in the long-running and now-pretty-much-dead Marvel Cinematic Universe. It is a clever, witty film that forces Tony Stark to solve a mystery and face off against bad guys without a fully functioning Iron Man suit. It displayed how capable Stark was as a wise human being as opposed to a mere superhuman. The end of the trilogy also brought the "Iron Man" story to an effective conclusion. We'll simply have to ignore that Iron Man appeared in other films after it.
Additionally, Black invented a clever twist with the film's villain. In the original Iron Man comics, the hero frequently faced off against a nemesis called the Mandarin, a racist Fu-Manchu-like caricature — armed with ten magical rings — born of pulp cliches of the 1960s. "Iron Man 3...

Although she may not remember, Gwyneth Paltrow appeared as Pepper Potts in Joss Whedon's 2012 film "The Avengers," a massive blockbuster that teamed up characters from five previous superhero movies into an ultra-powerful freelance military force. It was the third time Paltrow was in the film series, having appeared in "Iron Man" and "Iron Man 2" previously. In Jon Favreau's first "Iron Man," Pepper Potts and the title hero, played by Robert Downey, Jr., had a tempestuous professional relationship. Pepper capably and resentfully served as Tony Stark's personal assistant and as the chief wrangler of all his businesses. He, meanwhile, felt free to be an a-hole "genius maverick" who loved giving interviews in between bouts of drinking and hooking up.
Over the course of the "Iron Man" movies, Pepper and Iron Man grew closer and closer, revealing personal details about themselves and admitting a long-held attraction. It also...

Marvel Studios just shared some new information about why the missing episode in Season 1 of What If…? got pushed to Season 2.
The installment saw Tony Stark’s Iron Man crash land on Sakaar instead of Thor, leading to his own gladiatorial adventure, and it also featured Gamora sporting the armor of her dead adopted father, Thanos.
Oddly enough, that version of Gamora appeared alongside other heroes in the show’s finale despite not having her own episode released ahead of time like everyone else.

Chicago – An epic piece of miscasting puts “The Iron Claw” in a sleeper hold it’s never quite able to escape from … the pint sized gaping empty hole at its center has a name, and it is Zac Efron. Efron mistakenly believes that his admittedly drastic physical transformation will do his acting for him. But instead of looking tough, he instead looks distractingly cartoonish, like a He-Man doll come to life.

They compete against each other for their father’s attention and his approval knowing that one slip up...

The outcomes in wrestling might be staged, but the pain is very real. Pro wrestlers grapple, smash, and slam each other around for our amusement, and several documentaries and features already consider the long-term physical and emotional effects of life in the ring. But Sean Durkin’s The Iron Claw might be the best of them, a heartbreaking true story about one of the sport’s biggest dynasties and the curse they sought to climb out from under.
The film begins with Fritz Von Erich (Holt McCallany) in the ring, delivering his famous finishing move – from which the film gets its name – to an opponent as his fans cheer him on. But the majority of the film follows him in his career as a promoter in Texas, where his true iron grip is on his sons, each of whom he trains and berates in order to help them secure what...

Following ‘Avengers: Endgame’ we knew that the MCU’s prime Avengers cast would have to change. Black Widow sacrificed herself at Vormir, and Rdj’s Iron Man did the same by activating the Infinity Gauntlet and snapping away Thanos and the threat of his army forever.
It seemed like that chapter of the MCU was closed forever, and some new faces would emerge to take over the roles that were, at the time, left vacant. We’ve previously covered who the young Avengers of the MCU could be, and even though the prospect sounds amazing, the execution was less than ideal.
MCU found itself in sort of a rough patch in recent times. Both Disney+ shows and cinematic releases suffer from record-low interest, viewership, and profits. The most recent example is ‘The Marvels.’ Captain Marvel’s first solo performance in the MCU was able to rake in an impressive $1.131 billion worldwide.

Marvel has allegedly contemplated replacing Jonathan Majors’ Kang character with a new villain, pivoting to the comics baddie Dr. Doom, according to a new report.
The detail, which was reportedly floated at Marvel’s annual retreat in Palm Springs back in September amid Majors’ ongoing legal woes, is just one among a larger investigation by Variety that alleges other recent challenges and disarray at Marvel Studios despite the studio’s history of box office dominance.
Representatives for Marvel and Disney did not immediately respond to IndieWire’s request for comment.
In the case of Majors, Variety’s report says that recasting Majors is an option. The actor’s bid to have his case dismissed was rejected, meaning he will stand trial later in November. Complicating the issue of whether to recast the character or replace Kang as the villain is the finale of the second season of “Loki” that airs on Nov.

Novak Djokovic's career has been sensational but also somewhat mysterious with secret potions, unconventional methods and now another one of his gadgets that made an appearance at Roland Garros.
Djokovic was playing a second-round match against Marton Fucsovics when a secret thing made an appearance sparking yet another discussion around the Serbian. His magic potion has created more than a few of those and now this thing will be added to the list.
While he was sitting on his bench and changing shirts, cameras zoomed in on Djokovic's chest. There was something placed there with commentators joking that it resembled the device that kept Iron Man alive in the comics. When asked about it, Djokovic actually referenced Iron Man as well.
When I was a kid I liked Iron Man a lot, so I try to impersonate Iron Man.
The Serbian then went a step further sarcastically answering that...

Sexual obsession is well-worn territory for Erotic Thrillers, a subgenre that often features men who think with their libido rather than their brain. When you spend your life thinking about screwing, it tends to screw with your life.
This is the central premise of Josephine Hart’s 1991 novel Damage, which was transformed in the 1992 film of the same name, and, most recently, was adapted into the four part Netflix series Obsession.
In both adaptations, a wealthy, powerful, middle-aged married man becomes sexually obsessed with his son’s new girlfriend. They begin an affair, and the sexual desire costs the man everything: his job, his marriage, and the life of his son, who dies tragically when he falls over a banister after witnessing his father fucking his fiancé.
What’s interesting about both Damage and Obsession is how both texts adopt the tropes of an Erotic Thriller, albeit by substituting criminal or murderous activity for melodrama.

"Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" is introducing two new major characters into the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Namor (Tenoch Huerta), who will bring mutants into the MCU, and Riri Williams a.k.a. Ironheart, played by Dominique Thorne, whose two film credits prior to this are "If Beale Street Could Talk" and "Judas and the Black Messiah."
While there are — even in a Hollywood saturated with superhero films — plenty of comic book characters like Namor who have been around for decades yet are still waiting to enter the live-action spotlight, Riri's path to MCU stardom has, like Thorne's, been comparatively shorter. It was only back in 2016 that Marvel Comics introduced the character, created by writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Mike Deodato, as a brilliant young M.I.T. student who built her own suit of Iron Man armor in her dorm room.

The most impressive Marvel Lego collection released to date is about to smash its way into stores, and it's probably not from a Marvel Cinematic Universe film you'd expect. The new Hulkbuster set will hit shelves in November, reminding us that even polarizing superhero movies like "Avengers: Age of Ultron" are worth revisiting in Lego form.
The Hulkbuster set also boasts the biggest price tag of any Marvel Lego collection to date, according to Gizmodo. The set comes with a hefty 549.99 price tag to go with its 4049 pieces. It sounds like a massive and massively rewarding project in the making, one that's meant to appeal to serious collectors, Lego enthusiasts, and Marvel fans alike. Both sizable and detailed, the completed product stands over 20.5 inches tall, 18.5 inches wide, and 9.5 inches deep.

When "Black Adam" finally hits theaters this week, it won't just introduce audiences to the antihero Teth-Adam (Dwayne Johnson), but to a whole cadre of heroes who could end up playing a major part in the future of the Dceu. The team is called the Justice Society of America, and trailers for the movie have already given us a great first look at their impressive, assorted powers.
Among them is Hawkman, the leader of the Jsa who can be spotted body-slamming Black Adam into a building in clips from the movie. Hawkman, whose real name is Carter Hall, sports a pair of gorgeous and intimidating gold and red wings and a golden helmet with its own wing-like pattern. But the actor that plays him, "One Night in Miami" and "The Invisible Man" star Aldis Hodge, apparently had to make do with imaginary wings while on set.
