The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences released the schedule of key dates leading up the 2017 Oscars, on Thursday.
The first round of voting will open on Jan. 5 and close on Jan. 13. The nominations will be announced on Tuesday, Jan. 24.
Final voting begins on Feb. 13 and closes the following week on Feb. 21.
The date for the 2017 ceremony, as well as the 2018 awards, were set in a previous announcement.
This list of key dates comes only one day after the Academy announced that it invited 683 new members. In a push for increased diversity, the new class is 46% female and 41% people of color. The Academy membership, with the latest group included, is 27% female and 11% people of color.
Academy president Cheryl Boone Isaacs said the new inductees “represents a major step” toward her goal of increased inclusion.
The awards will take place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, to be aired live on ABC.
