Hanna-Barbera Productions was a prolific American animation studio and production company founded in 1957 by Tom and Jerry creators and former Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer animation directors William Hanna and Joseph Barbera.
Hanna and Barbera dominated television with a wide variety of animated series and won 8 Emmy Awards and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for their achievements in animation.
Their studio was a prominent presence in American television animation for 5 decades.
