A Television Director who spent most of his career working in the unique area of Live Television. His most memorable run was with Saturday Night Live (1975) from the beginning until his retirement just a couple of years before his death. His son Tommy Wilson went to work in the family trade for SNL. Dave Wilson received an Emmy Award for an Episode of SNL in its second season which featured singer/songwriter, Paul Simon. Before his stint with SNL, Wilson had covered the gamut from the 'Miss America Pageant' to all manner of Live Arts performances in the 60s on NBC at a time when Network presentations of such work was top notch and memorable. Fans of SNL will remember that shots of him behind the control board were frequently played for laughs as parts of skits or gags. He was a generous and inspiring man. He is survived by his wife, Roberta Wilson, his three adult children, Tommy, Danny and Michael.- Sepp Wäsche was born on 30 November 1929 in Bochum, Germany. He was an actor, known for Tatort (1970), Fernfahrer (1963) and Die Straße (1978). He died on 30 June 2002 in Augsburg, Bavaria, Germany.
- Richard "Pistol" Allen was the king of the shuffle styled drum beat at Motown records in the early 60s, second only to Motown drummer extraordinare Benny 'Papa Zita' Benjamin. When Benjamin wasn't available to play, Allen was called in to replace him.
Allen played drums on major Motown hits such as The Supremes's "Baby Love", The Four Tops's "I Can't Help Myself", 'Jr. Walker''s "How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)" and 'Martha & the Vandellas'' "(Love Is Like a) Heat Wave". Allen still loved to play the Detroit local music scene, and even after his stint with Motown he continued to be seen from time to time playing in Detroit nightclubs throughout the city, until his illness.
Allen is also an intricate part of the documentary _Standing in the Shadows of Motown: The Story of the Funk Brothers (2002)_ , which depicts the life as a Motown musician in the 60s; reflecting the ups and downs of being a faceless figure of the Motown sound. - Chico Xavier was born on 2 April 1910 in Pedro Leopoldo, Minas Gerais, Brazil.
