- Elisabeth 'Liddy' Godderis, missing since two days at her Brussels catering job, is found murdered at her home in Dilbeek (near Brussels). The killer changed the bed linen and washed her posthumously, in bath. Gardener Marcel Geeraerts, a former colleague and supervisor, saw leave her just-dumped young gigolo, truck-driver Alex Cools. Part of the team assumes he did it, others he's been set up, and indeed she had other admirers. Liddy's bachelor sole son André Godderis, in debt after a failed business she refused to invest in, is caught intruding the crime scene.
- Nina Heylen has car trouble at night and gets raped in a dark alley and murdered afterward. The forensic team find traces of building material on her body. But finding clues at a building site is like searching for a needle in a haystack. Underneath Nina's body a tank card is found. This is the property of Nicole Callens, an editor of a woman's magazine. Her boyfriend René Stevens, who is unemployed, is known by the police as an aggressive drunkard. Nicole lies when she says her friend never uses her car. But is this evidence he is involved in the rape?

The captain puts John in charge as he wife is about to give birth. The team discovers the coach's adolescent son Patrick deals in stolen motorbikes. Gay teacher Peter Fonteyne tutored Kevin, according to unsubstantiated rumors with pedophile abuse. the crowd turns on him when Kevin's corps is found by his uncle-godfather Maurice Cauwenberghs in the part of the wood indicated by a 'medium'.
- [Continues the previous episode] Lt. Capelle takes formula command of the team since the captain takes paternity leave. Gay teacher Peter Fonteyne's dubious alibi seems completely compromised after his Brussels lover Guido Pauwels declares they broke op weeks ago, but the painstaking chase of male prostitute Zoran establishes it to be trough. Forensics on Kevin's corps found traces of oxidation and protective paint, steroids doping and muscular injuries gravely questioning his athletic future. The soccer league actually reveals they notified coach Poelart, who admits he made a financial deal with pa Raf, Kevin called to refuse any recruitment. .
- Brussels antique-dealer Fischer cries for help after being robbed by two masked men. Willy and Reggie arrive in time to start a gunfight, but can't arrest either robber. The captain uses this as another excuse to side-track the gay detective in therapy and sharpshooting training. Passerby Tom Duprez, who tried to help Fisher, was coldly shot dead by Guy Renquin, who later terminates his junior Eddy, who got wounded badly but is denied medical help. Dodgy former P.I. André Lamotte saw everything, finds the fence and demands a hefty informer's free from the police. Tom's pa, rich lawyer Duprez, uses his connections to breath in the team's neck and pays André, who is found executed the next day. The team can only connect Lamote with pregnant prostitute Claudine Delcroix, who proves as dumb and mean.
- Ex-con Luc Paulus firmly resents any comment from her teacher Hilde De Bont about his good-for-nothing daughter Katrien's alcohol abuse and other oddities such as lots of cash. Tibo resisted his lover Nadia's saucily abusive demand to abuse police authority to lean on Paulus. Shortly after, his skull is smashed fatally. The team suspects former jail-mate Martin Coopman, now his partner in a window cleaning business, who actually fired him recently. Then they discover family and intimate secrets, yielding more suspects to be eliminated by alibi or forensics.
- Reputable lawyer Piron and his junior apprentice Struye competently win a case by exposing arrogant detective John's procedural errors. The next night, Struye is murdered at a crime scene. The prosecutor wisely guards the delicate case's ethics and invites the bar association's chief to supervise the confidentiality aspects. The team discovers various tensions within the law firm, such as the secretary having switched lovers to Strye from the junior partner Claes, and Piron's own possibly dodgy past.
- During a drug trade stake-out, Willy and Reggie mess up again during improvised urination but accidentally discover the corpse of retired cinema usher Agnes. She was shot with a Word War II gun. She was the never accepted daughter of a soldier and a posh Brussels family's matriarch who never even tolerated her name. Yet the team works out several members knew about her and/or had contact. Facsism-sympathetic antiquarian Dieter van Hoeck competently researched her past and proved her pa wasn't a Canadian liberation soldier but a Nazi subaltern during the occupation. Finally Agnes had a turbulent, kinky-secretive love-life.
- (Part 1 of 2) Old veterinarian Urbain Van Overbeke, one of the most influential men is his Brabant cattle village, is murdered and dumped in a canal, expertly cut into pieces with professional equipment. Young vet Frank Leuridon was after Urbain's clientèle and is rumored to have an affair with his daughter Dominique. Farmer Ronnie Ceulemans threatened publicly to kill him for officially disapproving his cattle, which he administered illegal hormones supplied by Frank, who insists they are health-safe. Ronie poisoned Urbain's horses with laurel in the night of the murder.
- Andrea Daniels works at the ITC department of the supermarket chain Minimax. A little time ago, she broke with her friend Martin Baeten who works at the advertising department. Then she starts a relation with Steve Hoste, who owns a freelance consultancy bureau. At an evening, Martin waits for Steve for him to come out of the apartment of Andrea. They start a fight where Martin makes an unfortunate fall against a wall and dies. A witness confirms that Steve only tried to hold off Martin. But soon questions are raised if the data Andrea manages, wouldn't be profitable for Steve. And if that is true, did Martin know this? Matti persists to explore the relation between Andrea and Martin. More and more she starts to see that Andrea and Steve already knew each other from the past and that they share a secret. In his student days, Steve was a known agitator and Sylvain remembers there is still a file about him from those days. Steve also has contacts with Vladimir Vasiliev, a Russian underworld figure.
- When all the carved-up parts of Van Overbeke's corps are finally found, the autopsy mysteriously shows no violent or other specific cause for his fatal heart failure. The team discovers Frank Leuridon had an adulterous mistress but still no alibi. Her alcoholic husband MD Weyns's violent reaction gets Tibo injected with a fast-working and -broken-down poison, which fits the autopsy. Van Overbeke's private life proves relevantly sanctimonious.
- Armored car driver Jan Stockmans, a failed restaurateur, robs 70,000,000 Belgian francs (about 1,75 million Euro) from his own cash transport. When he shows his wife Viviane the loot, fake Dutch passports and tickets for them and son Dennis to Rio, she refuses. Adjutant John, who wants to close the case by Friday when his holiday plane leaves, meanly arrests her as 'hostage' until she accepts to help set a trap while Dennis is forced to lodge with an aunt. Jan resorts to desperate measures with tragic consequences.
- At the parking of a dancing just outside the city limits, a girl is found murdered. At first it seems a brutal settlement within the drugs scene. Matti thinks the policeman who were first at the scene act kind of strange. Do they know more? When the force digs deeper, they find dubious conditions within the local police.
- Petty crook Dimitri starts shooting outside the Belgian parliament but is the only one killed after pointing his gun at a non-uniformed Matti. The team planned to close the file quickly, but is vaguely tipped off by Dimitri's ma and MP Marc Brabants's secretary that the politician may have been the target, perhaps even at the instigation of senator Jacques Van de Kerkhove, who badly begrudges 'Mr. clean' Brabants being marked by their party as future deputy minister. However, Dimitri's family's past also provides interesting rumors and facts in his village.
- Laurent Lanschot's Brussels agency's star model Vivi De Keyser is found strangled with a pantyhose. Gay colleague Vincent Glenisson explains her bitter rivalry with Bessie Luyten, who probably slept with Laurent. Bessie approaches Willy while he catches up with Vincent, a former playmate, leading to an IA complaint, forcing Willy to out himself, albeit only after Reggie forces him. Vincent plays a key part again after the team examines possibly jealousy of Viv's lover, Michael De Roeck.
- Communications student Tanja De Roover didn't study for married professor Rummens's college course, expecting the questions in advance as his lover, but he had ti play fair with his teaching assistant Dirk Lauwerijs in attendance, so she fails. The next night, she dies from an asthmatic episode in the mud near her bike. The professor isn't the only one with a dubious alibi, but he's blackmailed by Tanja's vicariously greedily-ambitious ma. Tanja also promised to pass on the questions to her ex-lover, classmate Steven Onsia, a tormented heavy drinker who also failed the exam.
- Junkie Axel Blijweert works as 'courier' for Fernand Calliauw's car thieves gang. After committing an accidental hit and run, he leaves the BMW behind in panic and turns to his rich pa, who refuses to help, believing it's another ploy to buy drugs. The victim's pa, ex-con Arnold Bakelant, hates the adjutant for the way he was arrested and got the maximum term, so he won't cooperate. Axel's corpse is found, shot twice execution-style. Did Bakeland get to him, or is the plot thicker, especially considering Bakeland has terminal cancer? More crime follows soon.
- Lonely gray mouse Matthys is found by her chiropractor Dirk Van Gelder, murdered at home, the corps covered with a dress too small in size. The only lead is that she was called by Mr. Joosen's telemarketing firm, notably sole male operator Donald Blomme, a loner, who lies to cover up he met the victim. The MO fits an earlier case, from which the dress seems passed on. The team can't prove anything against the apparent model citizen, so they set up a trap with the female cop as bait.
- Retired industrialist Rasenberg is found is his car, shot trough the head with his hunting rifle. It wasn't an actual suicide, in fact he had a bicycle accident and a cardiac episode. The late widower's son Antoine never worked but ran up debt, his sister Corinne openly bugged everyone with rude objections to the millionaire's affair with cemetery flowers seller Rita Moens, whom she implicitly accuses of theft. The notary informs Tibo, whose pa is his hunting friend on the Rasenberg and friends' hunting range, he made an appointment to change his will, but never specified how.
- After local singer David De Preter's Mexican Indian souvenir machete is found in a field and identified as murder weapon, he admits he found Kurt murdered, again drunk. Youth center barman Jeroen Pauwels is caught during a nightly attempt to steal his hidden diary, which contains enough dirt, mainly coded, to blackmail nearly all Grimbergen VIPS. Among them Kurt's boss, the alderman, Joke's cahoot Bernadette's father, whose family was never thoroughly investigated after the suspicious suicide of an in-living girl.
- During a robbery in the studio of the Anderlechtse jeweler Boumans, there is a shot fired. The bullet hits daughter Sonja in the eye and she is mutilated for life. One of the perpetrators gets out very soon after his conviction. The jeweler thinks the robber got out far to easy. He won't listen to the BOB and takes justice in his own hands.
- Kurt Van Kampenhout, who runs a municipal youth center, is arrested and treated with vicious hostility by John, whose excessive anger spills over to abuse his team, after an unsubstantiated claim by Joke Prinsen (17) that he molested her. The whole community turns against Kurt, except the alderman who is his superior, even after his release for lack of proof and credible alibi. Joke's devoted brother Ulrich, who works in the family butchery, even utters death treats. Joke's mother is forced to admit she had an affair with Kurt. Shortly after, Kurt is brutally murdered. Joke and her mate Bernadette confess their charge was bogus.
- Captain Capellen's attempt to divide the old team nearly succeeds in breaking up gay Willy Martens and his straight partner Reggie Bax. Matti Tomassetti is jealous when she realizes her husband, car salesman Vic, spends time networking at parties with his boss's sexy friends Wim and Yolande Zimmerman. When Wim is reported missing and the corps in his burnt-out car carries his papers, Matti's suspicions and illegal 'tenacity' arouse major procedure problems. Retired dog act circus artist Richardke's refusal to testify what he saw is key to this case and a related next crime.
- Juan promised his two good friends Noel and Roger a very big deal, but can't keep his promise. He has stolen the car from a certain Patrick Mariman and pulled the car totally apart, but couldn't find anything. He tries to sell the car back to Mariman, but the transaction doesn't go well and he gets shot. In the beginning the trail leads to Juans friends, but it seems that Juan worked at Mariman's golf club and was fired after a theft. He got that job thanks to Mariman's wife and two social workers, Michel Jacobs and Ria Maes. The incident of the theft was settled amicably. Mariman also gave 50.000 frank to Jacob's community center.
- Serge Graulus and his girl rob fur-maker Isaac Bachmann's workshop at night in his home. When the old man catches him in the act, Serge wrestles his shotgun away and uses it on him, fatally. After the team arrests Alain Steinberg's contraband gang, caught selling the fenced furs, he tips them off so they can trap Serge, but he gets away. An at first sight unrelated jewel case leads to his girl-friend Petra.
