- Steve Coogan has been asked by The Observer to tour the country's finest restaurants, but after his girlfriend backs out on him he must take his best friend and source of eternal aggravation, Rob Brydon.

Love, grief, and the frailty of the human condition are all brought to the fore as Gemma Will, and Paul are caught up in a descent into violence, first psychological and ultimately physical.

- This Traveltalks series entry visits several locations in the Lake Country of northern England. The first stop is Lake Windermere, the largest lake in England. Hawkshead, the second stop, is known for its connection to poet 'William Wordsworth', who is buried there. Next is a vacation resort on the shore of Morecambe Bay.
