- we are telling a moving story, inspired by the film makers, actors, contributors, script writers interpretation of an "idealised" love story at an "romanticised" era from 500 hundred years ago. We are not interested in showing the vulgarity and gruesomeness of war but rather the story of 2 people falling in love and surviving through time. Sir Rhys who won his knighthood at battle, he was a courageous warrior and caring husband man. He swore service and loyalty to his King, went to war and took part in all kinds of adventure, which tested his skills and strength. No matter the adventures, victories and achievements, his heart was always back at home with his beloved Eva. Sir Rhys's allegiance to his king was renowned - he was knighted at the Battle of Bosworth by Henry Tudor himself after many years of fighting. Staying at Weobley Castle with his loved ones would be for brief periods only. For years on end, he would be recruited for yet another battle, another war. We are telling the story of the heartache of Rhys and Efa's separation, and the sheer joy of being reunited. Rhys's feelings for his beloved Efa helps him survive all his battles. Likewise, Efa lives through those long days and nights patiently and courageously, longing for her husband's safe return. They had lived briefly together at their fortified castle home. Rhys was called to join his King at another war expedition. Efa is upset that she hasn't spent enough time with her beloved husband. Rhys is giving Efa a sea shell as something to remember him by whilst he is away. Efa is angry at the situation but she has no control of Rhys departure. Rhys is entering a boat and leaves for battle. Efa is missing Rhys and feels empty and sad. Rhys' mind is preoccupied with battle and trying to stay alive but cant help thinking of Efa all the time.
