- In this installment, the show looks back at the year 1968, which is generally considered the most turbulent year in American history since the Civil War. Among the events covered are the Tet Offensive, the assassinations of Robert Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr., the chaos at the 1968 Democratic National Convention as well as the music and trends that shaped the year. Among those interviewed are singers David Crosby and Grace Slick as well as writer P.J. O'Rourke.
- A look at the events that shaped the world from the years 1945 to 1985, especially the cold war and how it has shaped America and how America is viewed around the world. Among those interviewed are Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan. Also featured are Dean Rusk and several foreign leaders.
- As Reeves makes preparations for a special alumni game, the four surviving graduates all have very eventful days. College student Hayward applies for a job in the law library of a very prestigious law firm and deals with the guys in his neighborhood who constantly tell him he will never make it. Reese is working as a cab driver while trying to make it as a singer and has a chance meeting with one of his idols. Gomez has a more hectic day. He has a very intense argument with his wife and thinks he about how much different things would have been if he hadn't gotten married. However, his day ends on a happy note as his wife is about to give birth. Also, Reeves and Thorpe are saddened by the fact that Curtis Jackson won't be there due to the fact that he was killed just before he had a chance to graduate.
- As graduation approaches, Hayward begins the process of applying for various scholarships with little success. In the meantime, Goldstein gets awarded a scholarship but for some reason refuses it. Goldstein then makes a very important decision that will change his life for a few years even without going to college. Also, Ken is invited to go on a tour of Europe with several of his fellow teachers, but when he finds out that the first week of the tour coincides with the US Open golf tournament he cancels out even though it means he might mess up his relationship with his girlfriend.
- After four nights of continuous rain a man finds a body by his car. Once Quincy has completed the autopsy he announces that the man died of typhoid, an extremely infectious disease.
- A pair of time travelers from Earth's distant future are sent back to the past by their superiors on a mission of observation. However, the pair use the trip to plot for the eventual takeover of Earth in the future by wiping out most of mankind with a deadly virus and using the planet of the giants as a staging base. They eventually run into the castaways and use them as unwitting accomplices to their plot. Eventually Steve, Mark and the others find out the pair's scheme and try to stop them before they change mankind's future.

- A large passenger jet crash-lands 40 miles outside LA. Quincy and Sam are sent out to start the identification of the bodies and to make sure that the crash scene is kept intact.
- A look at the events leading up to and including the legendary March 1971 bout between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier. The film also looks at the political and social factors that helped to make this fight more than just an ordinary boxing match between two of the greatest heavyweight champions that ever lived as Ali was a symbol for liberals, militant blacks and hippies and Frazier was a symbol for the more conservative elements for society.
- Alice falls for the new boy in school, but he only has eyes for the most popular girl, who is much more beautiful and several pounds lighter. Alice then decides to go on a diet to try to lose weight but is unsuccessful. Harry then decides to send her to a health resort not only to lose weight, but to ensure she hooks up with a much more handsome boy and not her more homely boyfriend Herbie. When she returns she is several pounds lighter and much more glamorous. However, when he talks to the other girl's father, Harry begins to have fears that the boys will want to date her for all the wrong reasons.

The squad then arrest a black man for the first rape, but serious questions arise about his guilt and whether a rape took place in the first place.

However, Bill and his team might just become the killer's next victims.

- The Catwoman targets the fashion industry by first terrorizing a banquet honoring Batgirl and then attacking a fashion show. During the attack on the fashion show, Catwoman captures Batgirl and takes her back to her hideout where she threatens to kill her with a pattern cutter. She then tells Batman that if he attempts to rescue her that it will leave the visiting Queen Bess of Bellgravia vulnerable for attack. Now the Caped Crusader must find a way to save Batgirl and prevent any harm to Queen Bess.

It is soon discovered that the boat was of Tahitian registry and the passengers were Tommy Brown, an accountant for the mob, as well as his wife Teresa and Teresa's father Leo Paoli, a mobster who was deported to France after being convicted of his mob activities. Now it is a race against time as Danno searches for the trio who are carrying plague spread it to the populace of the island and cause an epidemic.
