A drama of the snow country, in two parts, by James Oliver Curwood. The plot of this story demonstrates the value of a friend in need. Bessie Eyton is featured, assisted by Wheeler Oakman. This story is full of punches and contains many beautiful snow scenes. After the occurrence of many strenuous stunts, a young trapper is falsely accused of murder and thrown in jail. His wife plans his escape and the policeman through pity for the wife allows him to get away. He is rearrested and tied hand and foot with rawhide thongs. His capturer leaves him to get his dog feed. A little white mouse gnaws through the tongs and releases him. He makes his escape and eventually joins his wife and baby. A logical but entertaining release. - The Moving Picture World, September 5, 1914
