- Opening Title Card: In the merry turmoil of the parties held by the New York high society, nobody was admired and envied more than the flapper Cherry Blow, first ballerina at the Garden Theatre.
- Chorus Girl: He's the most eccentric man on Broadway. Nobody knows if his disgrace is caused by his gambling on Wall Street or because of Cherry Blow.
- Midge O'Hara: I'm afraid I'll look like a college girl in these clothes, while you're going to be so slinky and seductive in the latest fashions.
- Blackfaced Maid: My goodness, Lordy! I wish I were an artist, too.
- Elevator Operator: Just go where all the noise comes from - that's Cherry Blow's apartment.
- Henry Rockwell: Let's go somewhere else and have a drink.
- Midge O'Hara: I don't think it's a good idea to drink before going to bed.
- Henry Rockwell: Who said it's time to go to bed?
- Midge O'Hara: Not for you, maybe, but it is for me.
- Henry Rockwell: Don't worry, sweetie, everything will be alright.
- Henry Rockwell: [after Midge refuses his advances] What are you doing? Don't you know this is in your best interest? You wanted to be alone with me - well, here I am. Now you do what I want.
- Midge O'Hara: I never wanted to be alone with you. Now you let me go. I beg you, let me go...
- Cherry Blow: I hate men!
- Midge O'Hara: I don't
- Cherry Blow: It's because you don't know them yet.
- Midge O'Hara: I think I know them better than you do. I'm sure you know how to make them pay well for every smile you bestow on them - but you seem to value yourself very little. You know it. And they know it, too. And because you're aware that they know - you hate them and try to take revenge on them.
- Jack Chalvey: You know, I'm completely broke - When I think that only one year ago I was so rich and powerful - and tonight I don't even have five dollars. Don't worry - we'll be guests of some friends of mine. I met them on a train, and would have declined their invitation if it didn't give me a chance to play bridge after the meal.
- Concierge: If you're looking for young couples, why don't you go to the Belvedere Hotel - that's where young couples go to flirt.
- Midge O'Hara: You have been wonderful, Mr. Chalvey! I have been rehabilitated before all the citizens of Beetville.
- Title Card: Midge's heart was torn between yesterday's millionaire and today's millionaire.
- Henry Rockwell: Isn't love what you're looking for?
- Midge O'Hara: Yes, but not the kind of love they know on Broadway.
