Nxt begins with Sami Zayn making his way to the ring, followed by his opponent, and the man whom he debuted against a couple of months ago, the former Edge-head, Curt Hawkins. Hawkins is a talented worker and I don’t understand why they don’t throw him back with his friend Zack Ryder and have them team together again. Anyway, that’s off topic, the match is decent, with some nice chain mat wrestling from Hawkins and the usual wonderful offence from Zayn. The fans do the “ole, ole, ole, ole” chant towards Zayn, who much get a kick out of his former career as El Generico not being forgotten by WWE fans. Hawkins keeps it to the mat with submission holds, but Zayn brings it to the air with a cross body from the top rope for a near-fall. Hawkins hits some unconventional moves, including an impaler Ddt...

Since their debut in November 2012, The Shield has definitely changed the landscape of the WWE. Rollins, Reigns and Ambrose have brought justice to the developmental system by making first impressions all the more important. However, in recent weeks, it seemed the three have taken a backseat to other storylines and showed vulnerability piling up losses. This week justice looks to be a priority again on this week’s Main Event and Nxt.
Let’s start with the first of two appearances on this weeks edition of The Main Event. The show begins with a six man tag rematch from last week’s Monday Night Raw as the Usos and Mark Henry battle The Shield. Really solid opening contest with good back and forth between the two trios. The babyfaces start off really hot dominating until the first commercial break and then it switches as the Hounds of Justice take control.

Usually, the two pack of WWE Main Event and Nxt is the strongest wrestling television of the week from Vince and company. However, sometimes there are building weeks with a ton of shenanigans. And this week was apparently one of those times. Not to say there wasn’t great action, just not up to standards of the usual programming. Let’s begin by breaking down this week’s edition of the Main Event.
The Main Event comes to us from the not so distant past of last week. We are welcomed by the broadcast team of Jbl and Josh Matthews as R-Truth does his full rap as he is set to battle the Rebel Son himself Wade Barrett.
(Can you tell WWE is on an international tour this week and didn’t really care what they put out on television this week?)
The match itself felt very awkward. I just...

Hello everyone, I’m here for the double dose of Wednesday World Wrestling Entertainment, The Main Event and Nxt. This week, I’m going to do something a little bit different. Let’s start with this week’s Nxt from Full Sail University.
After the show open, the action instantly kicks off with the last semi-final match in the Nxt Women’s Championship tournament. Tom Phillips and Brad Maddox welcome us with the dance card definitely full as Summer Rae battles the very bubbly Emma. Overall, a good match with some good back and forth. Summer once again uses her legs in interesting ways. Emma looked the best she had in quite some time and getting the character she is starting to get the balance of entertaining alongside wrestling. In the end, Emma pulls out the upset after a series pinfalls.
Afterwards, Summer Rae attacks Emma which brings down Paige...
