I thoroughly loved The Awful Truth. The Dunne/Grant comedy/chemistry was wonderful in that movie, and it remains one of my favorites. But 'dis movie ain't dat. After about 15 minutes, I disliked both of the main characters, and didn't care what happened to them. It was actually painful to watch, and such a disappointment considering the cast.
The familiar flashes of the Dunne/Grant comedy were there, reminiscent of the fizz and sparkle of The Awful Truth, so I hung on hoping things would get better. They didn't. I don't know how it turned out, and I don't care.
