- Mrs. Kennedy: Oh, good evening, Mr Hardy.
- Ollver Hardy: Good evening, Mrs Kennedy. This my friend, Mrs Kennedy.
- Mrs. Kennedy: Good evening.
- Ollver Hardy: I brought him home for dinner, Mrs Kennedy.
- Mrs. Kennedy: Oh, how lovely of you, Mr Hardy.
- Ollver Hardy: How is Mr Kennedy, Mrs Kennedy?
- Mrs. Kennedy: Oh, he's very well, thank you, Mr Hardy.
- Ollver Hardy: Is Mr Kennedy home, Mrs Kennedy?
- Mrs. Kennedy: No he isn't, Mr Hardy. I must be going. Good night, Mr Hardy.
- Ollver Hardy: Good night, Mrs Kennedy.
- [to Stan]
- Ollver Hardy: That was Mrs Kennedy
- [Stan seems taken aback]
- Ollver Hardy: Well, what's the matter?
- Stan: I was wondering who it was.
- Ollver Hardy: We're going to have a great big juicy steak with mushroom sauce, strawberries with the whipped cream mixed down in the bottom of it, a cup of coffee, and a big black cigar.
- Stan: Any nuts?
- Ollver Hardy: You would want *nuts*.
- Ollver Hardy: You just wait till you meet Mrs. Hardy. Mmm. She's a great scout. And won't she be surprised to meet you!
- Stan: She will be surprised, won't she.
- Ollver Hardy: Now, don't make a sound and we'll tiptoe in and surprise her.
- Mrs. Kennedy: My husband! If he sees me here like this he'll kill all of us. What'll I do?
- Ollver Hardy: Do? Why you tell him the truth.
- Stan: The whole truth.
- Ollver Hardy: And nothing but the truth.
- Stan: Absolutely.
- Ollver Hardy: Pardon me.
- [walks out the door and sees Mrs. Hardy, rushes back in]
- Ollver Hardy: Oooo-o! My wife. What'll we do?
- Stan: Tell her the truth.
- Ollver Hardy: Oooo-o shut up!
- Mrs. Hardy: I'm not going to cook. And you're not going to make a slave out of me for all the bums that you happen to bring up here for dinner.
