Margit Ladomerszky's debut.
The film's prolog reads:
... which translates as:
"Throughout the Great Plain, the legend about the April shower is still on the lips of old folks. It refers to the raindrops that dead mothers pour down from heaven to protect their daughters's virtue and the temptations of love..."
This film is essentially a silent film with sound effects.
There are very few dialogues which were obviously added later on.
