Often considered the WAR AND PEACE of animated shorts . . .

. . . THE SLEEPING BEAUTY spans a time frame from "1538" through "1643" and "1814" all the way up to "1939," four years PAST its release date. The moral of this story seems to be "Radio conquers all." Though the apocryphal tale claims that America's indigenous peoples could not discern the "ships of discovery" threatening their way of life, since they did not fit into their World View, Sleeping Beauty's Court seems to have no such problem dealing with an advanced audio technology hundreds of years beyond their own original expiration dates!
