- Porky leads a wagon train into "Injun Joe Territory," and finally comes up against the fearsome Superchief. But Sloppy Moe, a survivor of a previous Injun Joe attack, knows something about him he won't tell - until the very end.
- The story is set in the 19th century, with the Unites States' areas limited to a thin strip of land in the East Coast. The rest of the future country belongs to Injun Joe, a territorial Native American. Porky Pig leads a wagon train from New York to California. As the wagon train approaches Injun Joe's territory, Porky and his horse leave on a scouting mission.
Porky locates the sole survivor of a destroyed wagon train, the seemingly insane Sloppy Moe. The bearded man claims to know a secret about Injun Joe, but repeatedly refuses to share it with Porky. Meanwhile, Injun Joe uses super-strength to split open a mountain, to destroy trees, and to scare a bear that was trying to attack him. The bear is reduced to tears, and Injun Joe offers it ice cream as an apparent token off reconciliation. Joe soon eats most of the ice cream himself, and leaves the crying bear. Joe is then caught in a bear trap, but uses his teeth to force the bear trap to flee in pain.
Porky's horse causes a river to dry up by lifting a tub at the river's bottom, thus opening a safe path for Porky. Sloppy Moe taunts Porky, again without revealing his secret. Meanwhile, Injun Joe fights single-handedly against the men of the wagon train. He defeats them all, but then Porky challenges him to a fight. Soon Porky is forced to run for his life as the superhuman Injun Joe gives chase.
When Injun Joe finally captures Porky, Sloppy Moe appears to taunt Injun Joe. He then reveals his secret, that Injun Joe is ticklish. He tickles Injun Joe to submission. A crazed Injun Joe asks for more tickling, as the film ends.
