Sex & Nudity

  • Wife finds out her husband has been having an affair throughout their three-year marriage. Several male characters are womanizers who enjoy the company of many different women, going so far as to say he wished he were Muslim so he could have a harem. Several different single men propose eloping with a married woman. No nudity and only implied sexual content.

  • A tasteful female nude painting decorates the top of a large music-making machine. Seen in close-up at minute 1:14:41-51.

Violence & Gore

  • Jealousy sets off several fistfights among men. A jealous man with a pistol runs from room to room trying to kill a rival.
  • Characters shoot rabbits and pheasants with guns. Quite a few real ones are shown being killed.
