After circling the globe, the Human Cannonball has stickers from England, China, France, Italy, Hawaii, Asia, the Alps, and it appears there are two stamps from Bali.
The plot has gags aimed at both adults and children, as cartoons were still shown as part of a cinema program to mixed audiences at this time. Several references to popular figures of the day are included, such as Eddie Cantor, and radio comic Bert Gordon (whose character The Mad Russian is spoofed by the gorilla here). Avery himself voiced the circus bandleader.

Gamer the Glutton, Hot-Foot Hogan, and Captain Clampett the Human Cannonball are references to A.C. Gamer, Rich Hogan, and Robert Clampett.
