Shot in 15 days.
This film received its initial USA telecast Monday 19 February 1945 on New York City's pioneer television station WNBT (Channel 1). In Detroit it first aired Sunday 26 December 1948 on WXYZ (Channel 7), in Albuquerque Thursday 10 February 1949 on KOB (Channel 4), in Washington DC Sunday 3 April 1949 on WMAL (Channel 7), in Baltimore Wednesday 25 May 1949 on WAAM (Channel 13), and in Atlanta Wednesday 22 June 1949 on WAGA (Channel 5).
Although actress Ethelreda Leopold has only a few scenes, no lines and is uncredited in the cast list, the studio used her image on several of the movie's posters and lobby cards.
The failure of the original copyright holder to renew the film's copyright resulted in it falling into public domain, meaning that virtually anyone could duplicate and sell a VHS/DVD copy of the film. Therefore, many of the versions of this film available on the market are either severely (and usually badly) edited and/or of extremely poor quality, having been duped from second- or third-generation (or more) copies of the film.
