Director/Producer David Bradley was only 21 years old when he made this movie.
This 1941 silent film was actually an Amateur Camera Club production shot in the 16mm home movie format for a Northwestern University project. It likely has recognition because of a 17 year old schoolboy named Charlton Heston who appears in it. While it is considered Heston's first feature film it was just shown among 16mm camera clubs. The first theatrical showing was in 1965 when a soundtrack was added. Ironically silent film star Francis X. Bushman gave his voice to the new soundtrack.
