When he realizes the "little man from the draft board" is inside the closet with him, Daffy does a double double-take.
In the opening, Daffy is reading a newspaper. He throws it away, then gets up singing "Hooray for the red, white, and blue" and marching away from the chair - but there is no paper on the floor.
Daffy's US flag has five red and four white stripes. It should have seven and six, respectively.
Daffy's telephone has no wire to the wall, as would have been required at the time, as there were no wireless or cell phones at the time. They required an actual wired connection, usually to a wall plug or a box retrofitted to the baseboard molding (usually in houses built before the telephone was widely used).
