For a time, Vivian Vance was on the IMDb cast list for this film. AFI lists the production dates as 11 Sep--7 Oct 1944, and while Vance's location hasn't been well documented for those weeks, she was on a USO tour of North Africa and Italy from March '44 for at least 6 months. She is loosely connected to the film in that she sings a chorus of the song "Eadie Was a Lady" in Take a Chance (1933). (Search online for a clip; Lillian Roth is the primary singer, and 2 others take portions of the song as well.)
