Leo and his wife don't get along ,played by Franca Belli, because of Leos Atheism.But this changes when the strange has amazing powers.All of a sudden no one oppose the prostitute and she can now go to church.He cross over a mine bomb and it doesn't explode.The Polish singer he meets Wanda,played by Renata Bogdnaska, is about to kill herself when she discovers her husband ,or boy friend had died in battle,But then he stops her.The catholic village has a procession.As he watches it he notices the cross.The cross brings back his memory.
