Every sin can be forgotten

This is light comedy in the "Branquignols" style ,and after a promising start ,it is rather very predictable.

Two persons rent an apartment in the same building;he is at the head of an anti-women movement ,a bunch of confirmed bachelors ;she is the leader of a kind of woman's lib movement .The two groups meet on both sides of the stairs .Men's arguments go back to Genesis and Eve and the forbidden fruit that made man commit sin.Women ,in their room, declare that "we live Under male domination, pretending that their laws are our will" Unfortunately ,the only witty lines are those written on the walls ;the screenplay lacks madness, poetry, humor, and the last thirty minutes are so predictable it becomes a big bore. There are three horrible songs for good measure and Louis De Funès is not given a single chance to shine.
