When the waiter brings visibly carbonated "camomile (bicarbonate?) soda" to the chess players, the glasses' contents go completely flat as the camera cuts and they drink.
When Doris Day's fellow dancers are giving her a going-away party, close ups of the cake show a white cake with white icing. When the cake is later turned to face the camera it is a Neapolitan cake, with white, brown, and pink batters blended throughout the cake.
Ray Bolger visits Doris in her apartment to persuade her to go to Pais with him. She's in her dressing gown ironing. She goes behind a screen to change and throws a slip over the top but no dressing gown.
Near the end, when Doris Day "stomps" on Ray Bolger's foot, she doesn't hit even close to his foot.
Ray Bolger supposedly flies to New York when he realizes the invitation mixup, but the plane is shown flying over the Wrigley Building in Chicago.
