Mel Blanc: Fox, George the Rooster, Hens

Quotes

  • Fox : [when the fox caught the decoy chicken, with gunpowder and immediately sped home, the fox then quickly put it in its oven, humming. As the fox tested it over, for tenderness and checking if it was ready to be eaten, the decoy chicken exploded, as it was being poked over by the fox, with a fork while still in his oven]  A little overly done!

[the fox's face is almost completely naked, as if shaved, after the explosion occurred and the fox spoke]

  • [after the fox's numerous failures at trying to get a chicken, for a meal, it is so hungry that it decdes to disguise itself as a chicken thinking it will finally succeed]

Fox : I'm so hungry, that I'll do anything.

[the fox jumps up using springs, pretending to woo Clara the Hen]

    Fox : Juliet?

Clara the Hen : Oh, Romeo!

Fox : [fox jumps again by Clara's window]  Precious jewels?

Fox : [fox jumps again by Clara's window]  Car? And heavy too.

[fox, still in air while holding automobile]

George : Clara, act your age.

[guardian chicken, George then stripped the fur off of the fox's chest and tail, and gives the fox fur coat to Clara the Hen. Clara hugs George]

Clara the Hen : Oh, George! You shouldn't have.

Fox : [in a weak and dazed voice]  You can say that again, sister. George, you shouldn't have done it. You shouldn't have done it.

[closing credits and music then begin]
