- Steve Cameron: All right let's talk now while we have the chance.
- Connie Hayward: Steve! Varga killed Jim and Dr. Ericson. He told me when I wouldn't go with him. He gives commands to the Yeti! I saw it!
- Steve Cameron: I know, it all figures. Come on! We can talk later.
- Steve Cameron: You mean you don't know the purpopse of Dr. Erickson's expedition?
- Connie Hayward: Only that he's been preparing it for years.
- Steve Cameron: Well, his purpose is to capture one of the abominable snowmen, that's what the natives call the yeti. A kind of people, covered with hair, supposedly living above the 21,000 foot level.
- Trevor Hudson: Covered with hair?
- Connie Hayward: What do you mean, 'a kind of people'?
- Steve Cameron: Nobody seems to know whether they're... man or beast.
- Dr. Eric Erickson: So when I heard that new tracks hand been sighted, and there were fresh rumors about the hairy, I decided to see for myself.
- Trevor Hudson: You really believe in it.
- Dr. Eric Erickson: It's hard not to when so many famous men stake their reputations on the fact.
- Dr. Eric Erickson: As you know I've specialized in the evolution of man for over thirty years.
- Varga: I've heard you quoted a thousand times. You deal in theory, I deal in fact.
- Dr. Eric Erickson: I can't believe such men as Du Bois, Wagner, Hale, Bishop, could be completely wrong. One of them, yes. But four distinguished scientists, each at a different time, different place, have seen the same evidence.
- Connie Hayward: Steve, I told you that it's urgent that I find Jim, but I didn't explain why. He took some experemental injections back in the States. After he left the doctor told me that if he didn't return from this high altitude at once he would die.
- Steve Cameron: Didn't he know that?
- Connie Hayward: No. It's a continuous experement. This altitude factor was revealed only after Jim left.
- Dr. Eric Erickson: Are you married, Varga?
- Varga: Never had the time for it.
- Dr. Eric Erickson: Too bad. Good blood strain like yours should be perpetuated. It makes for strong men... and women too.
- Dr. Eric Erickson: Varga, you'll do as I order! This is my expedition!
- Varga: Was your expedition, doctor. You'll take orders from me now.
- Dr. Eric Erickson: Varga, you're forgetting your position!
- Varga: [Grabs the front of Dr. Ericson's coat] Don't ever talk to me like that again! Don't even think it! Now start up that hill.
- Dr. Eric Erickson: You're mad, Varga!
- Dr. Eric Erickson: I could make you the most famous man alive.
- Varga: Put me on exhibition? No thank you doctor. I have other plans for me... and for you.
- Dr. Eric Erickson: What possible plans could you have for me?
- Varga: I plan to kill you.
- Dr. Eric Erickson: It's obvious to me what your plan is. To breed out the Yeti strain. But how can you do it without help?
- Varga: I being fifth generation - you can see that it's not too dificult to obtain the necessary females.
- Dr. Eric Erickson: You kidnap women?
- Varga: There have been five this year. Now, of course, there's...
- Dr. Eric Erickson: Connie!
- Varga: With her I should be able to hedgehop two generations. Our offspring should be most interesting. Don't you think so doctor?
