• Erreurs faites par les personnages (éventuellement des erreurs délibérées par les cinéastes): Perhaps this can be forgiven in such a whimsical comedy, but whenever M. Arpel parks his car in his tiny home garage, he always pulls in front-end first; however, whenever he leaves for work in the morning, the car always exits the garage front-end first. (Possibly a subtle sight gag on Tati's part?)
  
  
• Equipe ou équipement visible: During the garden party, when Pichard has just fixed the fountain and Hulot and Gerard are hanging from the round windows, a man in black clothes can clearly be seen walking on the roof of the house.
  
  
• Continuité: Roger's clothes are dry after being in the river.
  
  

• Continuité: When Hulot holds the wire drink holder at the dinner garden party, it is at first closes to his left knee, but in next cut, closer to right.
  
  
• Continuité: Twice in the film, when Hulot gets home, he opens the windows, where he closes the right and leaves the left ajar, but in the following cuts it is the opposite. Possibly intentional?
