Submitted to the British Board of Film Censors by Cross Channel and passed with an "X" certificate on 19 May 1958. Cross Channel changed the title to When the Devil Drives and premiered the film in London at the Cameo Royal on 23 May 1958. Ran for six weeks and was accompanied by the return of Italian epic Attila (1954), surprisingly since Attila had a family "U" certificate.
