Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Violence & Gore

  • Early in the movie, a man is strangled to death by another man, as part of a SPECTRE training course. Later in the film, the same man tries to strangle Bond, however he escapes.
  • Bond and Grant engage in a brutal fight inside a train car. The ensuing fight scene is rather rough and hard-hitting, but still relatively mild. As they grapple, Grant starts to strangle Bond, but Bond is able to reach his knife hidden in the attache case and stab Grant in the shoulder. The wound is never seen, however there is blood visible on Bond's hand and knife. Bond then strangles Grant with his own cord.
  • There's a boat chase, involving several explosions and many gunshots (no one is hit). Some of the boats are blown up and lit on fire, and one man is seen partially on fire. He jumps into the water.
  • A woman uses a poisonous knife attached to her shoe to try and kill Bond. Bond pins her up against a wall with a chair to defend himself. The woman is then shot, although no graphic detail is shown.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • A woman unknowingly drinks wine with chloral hydrate in it, causing her to fall asleep. She is fine after waking up (but does not seem completely conscious for quite a long time, talking weirdly while very tired).

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The film's beginning, involving Grant cruelly killing another one (which we at first think is James Bond) just as an exercise, is likely to impress some.
