- Edwige Fenech plays the girlfriend of beatnik-hippy artist Archie (Willi Colombini). Throughout the film Edwige is either having her body painted during a hippy party, posing naked for Archie or seducing other men. All is not fun and games for Edwige though after another hippy girl (Marcella Michelangeli) has her eyes on Archie—Ørnås
- The self-styled anarchist Archibaldo Spadafora (Willi Colombini) is a failure as an artist, having never sold a painting. Instead, he spends his time partying with his counter-culture followers and romping in the hay with his girl de jour, Gioia (Edwige Fenech).
But in a moment of serendipity, he discovers a new art form that catches the eye of a local art dealer named Max Laponi. In exchange for taking his insatiable girlfriend, Luiza (Marcella Michelaneli), Laponi agrees to hold an exhibition of Archis latest creations.
Tossing principles to the wind, Spadafora shamelessly panders to the snobbery of the elitist art world, and makes a fortune! After throwing a wild party in celebration of his newfound success, Archi drops out of sight with his latest muse, Brunhilde (Alexandra Marischka) to pursue a new avenue in painting.
Needless to say, his entrepreneurial manager Eros (Rainer Basedow) and greedy landlady Isabela (Ellen Umlauf) are rather put out by his irresponsibility! [Refers to Italian language release, L'Uomo dal Pennello D'Oro]
