- The film deals with the sexual experiences and fantasies of a young woman, and has nudity. The movie belongs to a period that witnessed a marked change in attitudes to sexuality, depicting people with both very conservative and very relaxed views. The lead female struggles between the two attitudes.

- The lead female is running from a man who seems to be a dangerous sociopath. Especially in the later part, there are intense and frightening scenes where she is hiding/running from the man who is persistently behind her.
- In her imaginations, a woman finds herself in really perilous situations.

- A woman imagines being raped by a person she's hitched a ride with (the scene is graphic).
- A couple go skinny dipping in a lake. Both appear fully nude somewhat briefly, and this is non-sexual. The couple later have intercourse while a woman watches. Three people sunbathe in the nude near a house, to be later driven away by the owner.
- A woman has intercourse with two men (separately). Her breasts and pubic region have been shown, and the men's bare buttocks. In the second case, she is tied to a bed by the man (she is submissive but intimidated).
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- There is a scene where three people in a car are being chased by a man in another. They veer off the road and the vehicle explodes, later shown to be imagination.
