Very funny indeed!

This is a very funny movie if you like the Spanish comedies from the mid-70's (which I do). The whole movie takes place more or less in the same room, so it's rather like a filmed theatrical performance. The actors are two of the funniest Spanish actors ever, Lina Morgan and Alfredo Landa. This film was made during the "Apertura", a period in Spain when the transition from Franco to democracy took place. Almost every Spanish film from these years is about sex, this one too, but in a most decent way. Anyway, I think you will have to understand Spanish to enjoy it, as I doubt it will ever be translated.

Simple , direct and funny black comedy with a stunning Spanish cast

An enjoyable , charming and diverting picture with a fun script with full of black humor , entertainment , and exciting situations . Packed with scenes of absurd nature , this story is an agreeable farce, as we follow the ridiculous and amusing situations of a varied group of quirky characters whose destination is dictated by the sudden appearance of a corpse .A very enthusiastic girl Maria (Lina Morgan) accidentally kills her boyfriend (Pedro Valentin) , a carabinieri , after a long love session. Her brother results to be Gino (Alfredo Landa) , the parish priest of a small town in southern Italy , awaits a visit from the Bishop (Joaquin Roa) . Afer dying the Carabinieri as a result of an unbridled relationship with Maria, they try to make a twisted plan to not report the death and hide him . Before the arrival of the Bishop , Gino , Maria and another veteran carabinieri (Antonio Ferrandis) will attempt to hide what has happened. They will suffer during the rest of the film to hide the body.

The main premise about the deceased body is overspread throughout the movie , being satisfactory enough , though including a really stagy scenario and some conventional pitfalls . We are facing an enough remarkable film, based on a play "Balada de los tres inocentes" by Pedro Mario Herrero and where the theatrical environment dominates . The performances of the protagonists are immense , showing off Alfredo Landa who , little by little, was leaving behind his ordinary profile as a failed and sex-hungry playboy . Antonio Ferrandis, unforgettable as ¨Chanquete¨, fills his role to perfection , as always , he's an impressive and tremendous actor. Lina Morgan, in her theatrical actress sauce , does it splendid and unbeatable . The best scene in the film is , without a doubt , when Antonio Ferrandis drives a wheelbarrow pulling the bed of his lover Queta Claver out the window and taking her to the cemetery . The narration is so filled with crazy characters , nutty comedy , mixed with surreal elements and an underlying sense of comedy. Plenty of surprises, one can't help but keep watching, much as it in diaphanous and unambiguous, original, refreshing, creative and lucid , it is part of the most ambitious line of the comic tradition in the history of cinema. Los pecados de una chica casi decente (1975) boasts a great cast with plenty of prestigious and over the top main and support cast , such as : Lina Morgan, Alfredo Landa , Antonio Ferrandis, Queta Claver, Ángel Menéndez, Adrián Ortega, Joaquín Roa, Rafael Téllez, Pedro Valentín , Francisco Camoiras , among others . All great actors, almost all deceased, who contributed their professional work with their own style to past decades , which when reviewed almost fifty years after it was filmed , produces a certain longing for those times when everything was simpler and full of mirth , but also much more authentic .This issue about how to free a deceased corpse has been subsequently treated in the Spanish cinema , such as : ¨Carne de gallina (2001)¨by Javier Maqua , ¨Carmina y Amén¨ (2014) by Paco León and in dramatic style ¨Amador¨ (2010) by Fernando León de Aranoa .

It seems unbelievable that a feature film like this is the object of vilification , low ratings and derogatory comments at the time its premiere , just because the aforementioned director appears in its credit titles and because its cast includes actors like Lina Morgan and Alfredo Landa who, for their part, they give excellent performance. The film directed by Mariano Ozores flutters on itself like a superb tangle of unsuspected festive stitches . Written with irreproachable stagy as well as cinematic language we find ourselves before a plot concocted with ingenuity , simplicity , overflowing imagination , adding an enviable sense of narrative rhythm and delving into black humor. The picture was well directed by the prolífic Mariano Ozores . This good craftsman wrote , produced and directed a lot of films, mostly comedies, and one Sci-Fi picture : ¨La Hora Bruja¨ (1964) , but it was a real flop , failed at boxoffice and Mariano was bankrupt , then he promised at the future only to make comedies . Mariano directed 93 films , most of them were charming comedies , though made some dramas as "Alegre Juventud" and "Las Dos y Media y veneno" with his fetish actor , José Luis Ozores . Mariano directed a lot of comedies for the greatest Spanish comedians as Paco Martinez Soria , José Luis López Vázquez , Lina Morgan , Alfredo Landa , Jose Sacristán and the successful duo : Fernando Esteso and Andrés Pajares.
