This short film produced by the South Australian Film Corporation and relates to wool, sheep. and shearing. and was made and first released within about just a couple of years of the SAFC's classic feature film about sheep shearing set on a sheep station during the 1950s.
The scene where an old car rolls and crashes in the brown dirt is taken directly from the footage in 'Sunday Too Far Away' (1975). This was an earlier and seminal production of the South Australian Film Corporation (SAFC) which also produced 'Freedom' (1982). Actor Reg Lye, who played Old Garth in 'Sunday Too Far Away' (1975), portrays an "Old Farmer" in 'Freedom' (1982) according to the credits roll. Both characters feature the descriptor "old" in their character names.
