Storyline
Plot Summary |
Simon Templar is a modern day Robin Hood of sorts. He steals from rich criminals and keeps the loot for himself (usually in such a way as to put the rich criminals behind bars). He's dashing, suave, charming, and he's always one step ahead of the bulldog-like Inspector Claude Eustace Teal. This series chronicles his swashbuckling exploits.

Did You Know?
Trivia | Every script carried an explanatory outline by The Saint's creator Leslie Charteris for the cast and crew: "I have been trying to make a picture of a man. Changing, yes. Developing, I hope. he is a roaring adventurer who loves a fight ..... a dashing dare-devil, imperturbable, debonair, preposterously handsome, a pirate or a philanthropist as the occasion demands. He lives for the pursuit of excitement .... for the one triumphant moment that is his alone. Fantastic? Improbable? ..... perhaps. It doesn't matter so long as you feel that you would recognize him if you met him tomorrow." See more » |
Goofs | throughout the series The Saint drives a white jaguar XJS with the registration number ST1 but the interior changes from tan to black on regular basis. Also from a manual to an automatic and having a sunroof or not. See more » |
