When Jennie is told to take off her wet dress, it was obviously dry.
The climax of the story takes place at a "turn of the century" celebration, which would almost certainly be on Dec. 31, 1899. Yet the movie has people dancing outside at this event, with no coats in apparently summer-like weather.
