The discard piles of once trendy clothes are getting an upgrade while giving homeless teens togs that spark their confidence through the crafty work of Malibu, California high school junior Dillon Eisman.
Aware that people generally donate clothing that’s less than desirable to the underprivileged, Eisman, 16, took his interest in fashion and taught himself how to sew in order to turn the dowdy duds into hot fashion.
“I practiced on clothes my mom was going to donate to Goodwill and I was able to turn them into something trendy that teens would actually want to wear,” Dillon tells People.

Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber are proud parents of two very smart kids.
The couple recently celebrated a milestone every parent hopes to achieve: seeing their two children – Kaia, 15, and Presley Gerber, 17 — make the honor roll.
On Thursday, Rande shared a shot of his daughter and son’s certificates from Malibu High School.
The slips, signed by the school’s principals and counselors, are for the Fall of 2016-17 semester. And from the photographs, it appears Kaia didn’t just make the honor roll — she topped it, with a 4.0 Gpa.
“Brains curtesy of @cindycrawford,” Rande jokingly captioned the picture.

Awkward. is just so awkward. In a good way, of course. Greer Grammer, who play's Lissa on the MTV series hit, couldn't be more ecstatic to be a part of all the chaos and we just love watching her! As Lissa continues to ask what Jesus would do and tries to save her friendship with Jenna, she also recently decided to give her relationship with Sadie another go. Quirky and adorable, I can't help but think that Greer has some of the same qualities as her character.
Awkward. not only has good storylines, but it's written so witty that (shocker!) kids can actually relate. Sure there's a curse occasionally and Tamara just peed her pants last episode, but those incidents happen. Just like the main arc where someone like Jenna is caught between someone as sweet as Jake and an athlete like Matty. The series just got picked up for...

David McGiffert's name has been on the credit rolls of some of Hollywood's best-known films: "Rainman," "Tootsie," and all the "Back to the Future" movies. He has worked with A-listers including Tom Cruise, Dustin Hoffman, Jessica Lange, Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz, Cameron Diaz, Jim Carrey, Richard Gere, Robert Redford, Michelle Pfeiffer, Woody Harrelson and a long list of others. But now he's working with a celebrity of a different sort: His 15-year-old rhythmic gymnast daughter who has her sights set on making the U.S. National Team.
Let's just say this up front: You don't see many Hollywood dads walking away from "the life" to give their kids the gift of time. Yet without David's involvement, there's no way that his daughter Natalie, a 10th grader at Malibu High School, would have been able to participate in the world of competitive rhythmic gymnastics, said David's wife Shannon. "Welcome to high school, honey."
These are the words uttered to rising freshmen in the cult classic film "Dazed And Confused" (1993) as soon-to-be senior girls smear ketchup, mustard and flour all over the young girls as part of an initiation rite.

Chillerama introduced the world to a number of things, from sex-hungry ghouls to man-eating semen, but perhaps the most memorable segment in last year’s anthology hit is Tim Sullivan’s I Was A Teenage Werebear. The hybrid of Rebel Without A Cause and Beach Blanket Bingo (with a little bit of s&m) is a hilarious musical that goes over the top to a sweet tune. Now the tunes featured in Werebear are available in a limited edition soundtrack that, despite being on the market less than 24 hours at this point, is already causing waves.
Sullivan initially offered the disc on Ebay as a bulk quantity auction, but within hours, the auction giant removed his listing, citing it as, “sexually and morally offensive.” As a result, the filmmaker has had to ask interested parties to order directly from him by sending an request to newrebel2211@gmail.com with your...

Labeling the just released CD soundtrack for the indie horror hit I Was A Teenage Werebear as “sexually and morally offensive”, eBay has removed it from sale, the film’s director, Tim Sullivan, reports.
Writing on Facebook, Sullivan said:
“Yes it is True ! eBay has banned the sale of the personally autographed Teenage Werebear CD and 8×10 on its site, deeming it “sexually and morally offensive”. I Kid You Not!
Rather than fight an uphill battle with the fine folks in eBay’s ‘safety & trust” department, I have decided to offer an alternative to those wishing to indulge in the apparently corrupt delights of the Werebear World”
Booted from Ebay
An homage to the drive-in movies of the 50’s and 60’s, Chillerama is a comedy-horror anthology comprised of four vignettes from some of contemporary horror’s biggest filmmakers. I Was A Teenage Werebear is Sullivan’s contribution to the project.

An homage to the drive-in movies of the 50′s and 60′s, Chillerama is a comedy-horror anthology helmed by four of horror’s biggest, and most-loved filmmakers, including Adam Rifkin, Adam Green, Joe Lynch and Tim Sullivan. And it’s Sullivan’s vignette I Was A Teenage Werebear, a spoof of the 60′s beach movies, that gets the soundtrack treatment from BuySoundtrax Records.
I Was A Teenage Werebear follows a day in the life of new kid Ricky O’Reilly (Sean Paul Lockhart) who falls for Malibu High’s mysterious bad boy Talon (Anton Troy). However talon is not all he seems and when he and his gang become aroused they transform into the S&M leather-clad werebears of the title – which does not bode well for Ricky, especially when loves bites him in the ass – literally!

What I find most stunning about Why Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way' May Save the Music Industry isn’t the staggering amount of money that’s
generated around Mother Monster. It’s that at the top of the article there’s a picture of Lady Gaga surrounded by brand logos she works with – Polaroid, Estee Lauder, Spring, Virgin Mobile, and… a rainbow flag. Gay is a brand now?
A high school sophomore who challenged Tea Party favorite Michelle Bachman to a debate on the Constitution has been getting death threats for her trouble. Some of those “real Americans” are even threatening to rape her.
Should we be boycotting straight weddings on principle, even for our oldest friends? Probably not unless we don’t want to have any friends. But we can definitely shop at the low end of the registry.

Coffy
Directed by Jack Hill
Screenplay by Jack Hill
1973, USA
Jack Hill’s anti drug/vigilante movie film stands among one of the three best of the blaxploitation genre. The project originated when American International Pictures lost the rights to the film Cleopatra Jones and approached Hill to quickly produce a movie starring a black female lead in hopes of beating Jones to the box office. The film was a huge success, both financially and critically, earning far more than its competition and established Pam Grier as an icon of the genre and an idol for African American woman everywhere.
Writer-director Jack Hill was a low-budget B-film auteur following in the footsteps of Roger Corman. He had already directed two “women in prison” films with Grier cast in small parts (The Big Doll House and The Big Bird Cage), but Coffy was Grier’s breakthrough role. Hill wrote Coffy with the actress specifically in mind.

Ian and Teddy
There might not have been a new episode of 90210 last night for me to recap, but that doesn't mean I'm going to leave everyone high and dry! In fact, I've been doing some more digging and have scoop about what's in store for Teddy Montgomery (Trevor Donovan).
As previously reported, next week's episode sees Teddy and Ian (Kyle Riabko) share their first kiss aside from their drunken hook up. While there aren't many details known about what happens next between them over the next few episodes, based on information from episode 315 (which should air in January), we learn:
Word gets out at school that Teddy is gay and he's teased for it. He goes through a break-up. Teddy and Silver are friends again. Teddy meets a guy named Marco...
