Sex & Nudity

  • In the first shot, the kid is shown holding his breath in a bath. His buttocks and scrotum are seen, but not much else.
  • The pre-pubescent boy is afraid of growing up and inspects his genitals for signs of pubic hair. He briefly pulls his foreskin back and looks underneath and inspects his testicles. This occurs in plain view. Later as he approaches puberty (still without pubic hair), he spies upon a naked woman. He is obviously sexually aroused by this, as an explicit view of his erect penis is shown in close-up view twice as he peers at the woman through a hole. He proceeds to touch himself, signifying him masturbating.
  • A woman is topless when jumping into the water.
  • Later, the boy meets a naked woman and he then takes his pants off revealing his genitals. Later that night he proceeds to put on makeup and a wig, then stands in front of a mirror completley naked and attempts to hide his penis between his legs (pretending he's a girl).
  • The boy is seen from a back angle urinating. Only his urine stream is visible.

Violence & Gore

Profanity

  • All of the profanity is used via subtitles, as the film is in Swedish. A few uses of "fuck" and "shit."
