• Révélant des erreurs: Peewee dials the restaurant on the pay-phone using 8 digits.
  
  
• Continuité: Chili appears and disappears from the counter after Meat face-plants in his bowl.
  
  
• micro visible: A boom mic is visible in the upper right hand corner in the trees of the school parking lot, as Mickey walks forward to ask Billy and Tommy if the plans for Cherry Forever are set for the night.
  
  

• élément de l'intrigue manquant: As the boys first head for Porky's, Mickey explains to Meat that the lawmen working in "Wallacetown" for "Porky Wallace" are just "Porky's stormtroopers." So why, when later recounting their misadventure back in Angel Beach, is Meat shocked and bummed that Wallacetown's "dumb sheriff" sided with Porky?
  
  
• Anachronismes: The marching band at the end has players playing Mellophones. Mellophones were created in the late 1960s (about 1966) and didn't really replace the French horns in most marching bands until mid 1970s.
  
  
• Continuité: In the scene where Coach Brackett takes Miss Honeywell up into the boy’s locker room hoping to get lucky, she is wearing pantyhose when walking up the stairs but not wearing pantyhose when entering the locker room.
  
  
• Equipe ou équipement visible: Just before the frame scales down to show the credits, the camera's shadow is visible on the left size of the screen.
  
  
• Continuité: When the boys are first outside Porky's and the Sheriff pulls up, a closeup of Porky's face is shown and his cigar is not in his mouth. In the next shot, Porky is in the background and is shown taking his cigar out of his mouth.
  
  
• Révélant des erreurs: When Porky's is collapsing, obvious set walls fall inwards, as you can see the backs of them.
  
  
• élément de l'intrigue manquant: Early on, it is revealed that Porky's is "70 miles out in the Everglades". After Mickey receives his last and most brutal beating, it is highly unlikely that he would have been able to drive the 70 miles back home.
  
  
• Anachronismes: This movie was set in 1954, but in numerous street scenes more modern "cobrahead" streetlight fixtures are seen. That type of streetlight was first introduced in 1957.
  
  
• Continuité: When they are thrown out of Porky's the sheriff knocks out A single headlight on his truck. When Mickey leaves the drive in after talking to his brother he turns his headlights on and both headlights work fine.
