The series was announced as filming in the 29th March 1984 issue of The Stage. Locations given were the TVS Southampton Studios and locations in Portsmouth.
The ratings for the fifth week of this programme are unavailable; however the remaining six episodes all failed to make the Channel 4 Top 10.
Part of the reason for the series' lack of commercial success was that it was placed in a late-night slot, with every episode scheduled for a post-11pm start time.
The timeslot also varied from week to week, with three episodes scheduled for 11:05pm, but Wayne Sleeps (1984) not scheduled to begin until 11:45pm.
